Hi leonbloy, first, I'd like to say that I really appreciate your arrangements (particularly Ponyo) because it helps me to improve my guitar playing so much. I think that you have a very great talent.
When I play your arrangements, it never sounds as I wish because of my strings. Could you give me some advices: what kind of strings do you use to get a good guitar sound? Thanks in advance
Thanks. I doubt you'll find the strings so influential... the guitar and the playing are more important (and the microphone, if you are recording). I don't have a particular brand: I've used Daniel Mari, GHS, D'Addario; medium price range, and medium tension.
Now that I think about it, I think it's because of my microphone which is my cellphone.. and I have to admit that it's not the best idea for music recording. Anyway, thanks for answering me and your advices, and keep doing your inimitables arrangements.
