Mononoke: Tema principal y "Viaje al oeste"

Tema de "La princesa Mononoke" (película de Miyazaki, música de Hisaishi), precedido de "Viaje al oeste", de la misma. Además de la guitarra nueva, ahora incorporé soporte para guitarra, y nuevo micrófono (Sansom C01U). Lamentablemente, cometí la idiotez de orientarlo muy mal... Me extrañaba que captara tanto soplido... por suerte, unas semanas después, un guitarrista en un foro me desasnó.

Main theme for "Princess Mononoke" (Miyazaki), preceeded by "Journey to the west", from the same movie; both composed by Hisaishi. Besides the new guitar, now I had new guitar support (barely visible) and a new microphone (Sansom C01U). Sadly, I placed it badly, pointing to the wrong side... I felt that it got too much noise, but... only some weeks later another guitar player in a forum made me see the light...

"Ashitaka to San" (de Joe Hisaishi) es el tema que cierra "Princesa Mononoke" (Miyazaki). Mala calidad de video, grabado con webcam. Es la primera vez que inserté fragmentos de la película en el video; me pareció una buena idea, para ayudar a evocar la película (para mí la música de Hisaishi tiene su valor primordialmente como ingrediente de las películas de Miyazaki), y me lo sigue pareciendo - aunque debido a esto Youtube terminó cerrándome el canal.

En mis arreglos suelo meter algunas armonizaciones informales, desprolijas, como un rasgueo semi improvisado sobre los acordes, acompañando la melodía. Eso, que es difícil de reflejar en las partituras, es más pronunciado en canciones melódicas ("románticas"), como esta.

"Ashitaka to San" (from Joe Hisaishi) is the musical theme that ends "Princess Mononoke" (Miyazaki). Bad video quality, still recording with a cheap webcam. This was the first time I intermixed the video with short fragments from the movie. It seemed to me a good idea, because it helps to evocate the movie (and, for me, Hisaishi music is in first place an ingredient of Miyazaki's movies); and I still think it was a good idea, though because of this Youtube ended terminating my account.

In my arrangements I often add some informal relaxed armonizations, semi strumming over the chords, to adorn the melody. This thing, rather difficult to transcribe in the scores, is more pronounced in melodic ("romantic") songs, as this one.
